This is a blend of many spices that can be used as a rub dirctly on beef, poultry, pork and fish. It is an excellent flavor enhancer that can be used in a limitless number of dishes that makes the difference between good food and great food.

This spice blend was born out of necessity several decades ago. My husband, after having tried many off-the-shelf and specialty season mixes could never find the right flavor profile, so he created his own proprietary blend of spices that he uses extensively in his cooking.

After the completion of "Finding Forever Love" and the creation of this web site, he thought it would be fun to share his signature recipes and the Savory Spice Blend with all of you.

After much discussion, we decided on keeping the costs as low as possible to the end consumer and giving the best value possible. To that end, the Savory Spice Blend is packaged no-frills in a plastic zipper bag and mailed in a plain envelope to you.

Instead of paying for bottles that you'll eventually throw away, fancy labels that don't add any flavor to your food, boxes, shipping labels, etc., we wanted to give you the most bang for your buck!

We suggest that you buy a shaker bottle at your local Megamart store and fill it as needed. In our house, we use a small parmesan cheese shaker, which seems to work the best, because it has larger holes. We cover ours with a piece of plastic wrap and a rubber band when not in use, to keep it fresh.
