She was born in Alaska and now lives in the "show-me" state of Missouri with her husband, their two teen-aged daughters and their two dogs (a chorkie and mini-dachs).

She will readily admit that parenting can be the greatest source of both frustration and joy. She is looking forward to spending time with the grandchildren.

She is actively involved in church and loves working with the younger children. She is proud of all her children and especially her oldest son who is serving a two-year mission.

She has traveled around the world and all over the United States due to military assignments and career opportunities.

She is a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing at a health and rehabilitation center. She thoroughly enjoys helping others who can't care for themselves, especially the elderly.

She has been writing since elementary school and loves to write when she can find the time. Finding Forever Love is her first published work.

She enjoys restoring and remodeling her 90-year old home. She's not a real big fan of the lead-based paints that were used in the "old days" but loves the character and charm of the old house.

She enjoys camping, RVing, hiking, fishing and being outdoors in general. She is looking forward to converting the back yard into a garden spot and planting fruit trees around the house. Solar power, a solar oven, a solar shower and other "green" projects are being planned for the future, to make for a more eco-friendly life.
